At Executive Protection Institute, we are committed to providing professional-grade training, community, and resources for individuals pursuing careers in executive protection and related security fields. Because our services often include immediate digital access, live events, and certification pathways, our refund policy balances fairness with the need to maintain compliance, security, and integrity.
1) Digital Courses, Memberships, and Online Training
- All sales are final once access is granted. Upon purchase, you immediately gain access to protected intellectual property, training resources, and/or certification materials that cannot be “returned.”
- Refunds are generally not available for self-paced online courses, subscriptions, or membership fees.
2) Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be approved under the following situations:
- Technical failures: You encounter persistent technical issues that prevent course access and our support team cannot resolve them within a reasonable timeframe.
- Duplicate payments: You are mistakenly charged more than once for the same product or service.
- Unauthorized transaction: Documented evidence shows your payment method was used fraudulently.
Requests outside these categories will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our support team.
3) Live Events, Workshops, and Certifications
- Cancellations by registrants: Refunds may be issued if you notify us in writing at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled event. After that window, refunds are not guaranteed, though substitutions or transfers may be considered.
- Cancellations by us: If Executive Protection Institute cancels or significantly reschedules an event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to another date.
- No-shows: Failure to attend without prior cancellation does not qualify for a refund.
4) Refund Request Process
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@personalprotection.com within 14 days of the original transaction.
- Include your full name, order number, date of purchase, payment method, and a detailed description of the issue.
- Our team may require additional verification to protect against fraud.
5) Processing Timeline
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- Processing typically occurs within 7–10 business days, but banking/credit card institutions may require additional time.
- You will receive an email confirmation once a refund is processed.
6) Non-Refundable Items
- Completed courses, issued certificates, or downloadable materials.
- Membership fees already used to access community discussions, live calls, or training archives.
- Third-party products or services purchased through affiliate or partner links (refer to that vendor’s policy).
7) Responsibility of the Learner
- By enrolling, you acknowledge your responsibility to meet technical requirements (internet connection, compatible devices, up-to-date browsers, etc.).
- We cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as employment, licensing approvals, or skill mastery — refunds are not granted based on unmet personal expectations.
8) Governing Law
This refund policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
